Quantum Leap 2010

Pioneering project of the SB DJK Wurzburg Rothenburg – awarded the trophy “quantum leap 2010 – Club work in the next decade” the Bavarian country sport Association (BLSV) and Lotto Bayern promote innovative projects in Bavarian clubs. One of the winning projects is the Centre for adventure sports and movement prevention (ZEB) of SB DJK Wurzburg. Goal of the ZEB is among other things the development of experience-oriented exercise activities for children and young people. Headed by Astrid Hutka, head of the gymnastics Department of the SB DJK Wurzburg, and Helmut Diener, Akad.Dir.i.R. the Institute for sports science of the University of Wurzburg, are preventive and experience-weighted courses offered in the ZEB and innovative movement concepts developed.

The findings from this also incorporated into the physical education in schools and in the training of sports teachers and coaches. The offers of the ZEB is based on the “multidimensional Turn concept”by Hartmut Baumann and Helmut Diener, which requires a holistic-oriented movement range for latitude, performance and health sports.
